This year we decided to go on a ski trip with our friends Sherri and Tom. Tom read an article about a place, called Kickinghorse Resort, that was supposed to have excellent lift serviced terrain. Everyone thought it sounded like a good time, so we went.
The pictures just don't do it justice... Here are several pictures of the upper bowls at Kickinghorse. There are many steep chutes and open faces to pick from and most everything is either lift serviced or only a short hike away.
The resort is located in Golden, BC, which is the home of Purcel Heli-Ski. I went heli-skiing one day during the trip. Here are some pictures of the helicoptor and the front face of Kickinghose.
Finally, here is a picture of our group on the last day. The picture was taken at the bottom of the gondola at Kickinghorse. All in all, it was a great trp.
