The wonderful thing about the web is that with one click, you can move from January to June. In case you are wondering what I'm talking about, the last page of pictures came from work that was done in January and this page is from June!
While it may look like nothing has changed, that could not be further from the truth. In the last 5 months we have finished most of the plumbing and wiring and insulation. We are finally ready to install the drywall! We decided that it would go quickly if we worked with 12 foot sheets, so we rented a drywall lifter. If you ever have to drywall a ceiling, you need one of these tools!
The pictures below are the ceiling in the living room and part of the kitchen.

These last pictures are of the pool room and the master bedroom. The final shot is the long wall in the pool room all finished. Nice...
One interesting thing to note is that these pictures were taken on the one year anniversary of the project. We started to put down foam blocks July 4th weekend 2004 and these pictures were taken July 4th weekend 2005. This coming weekend we hope to finish the drywall and meet with the contractor who will do the finish work.
